All aspects of learning a foreign language will be addressed through reading, listening, speaking, and writing. The online version of these courses will allow students the interaction needed for language acquisition with multiple opportunities for communication between peers and the instructor.
Students have access to video lessons that they can refer to as many times as needed. In addition, they will have listening lessons, speaking opportunities, weekly checkpoints, online quizzes, and tests.
The Stetleón Spanish Institute LLC has partnered with Panhandle ISD to offer these courses through TxVSN.
The primary reasons for offering online Spanish courses are to create innovative learning opportunities for 21st century traditional and many non-traditional students. Schools are challenged to meet student needs by providing a highly qualified learning environment and meeting guidelines for graduation. These online courses will help meet these demands.
